The Sozialmarkt Perg is a social service of the red cross which offers foods and daily life products to people who are struggling with low income or who are currently unemployed. Those products, which are free from any defects but would usally end up in trash are provided against prices covering the administration costs only. Meanwhile, many producers or supermarktes donate goods which are close to their best before date. On the other hand, they have problems to get any kind of durable foods. Our donation contains 2.5 tons of goods like rice, noodles, sugar and oil to fill this gap.
